Our Story

As a parent wanting to leave a healthier planet for future generations, I often found myself struggling with two conflicting desires:

One, the desire to beautify my home with gorgeous objects I covet in the rabbit hole that the web can be.

The other, the desire to simplify my life and lessen my family’s environmental impact.

I wished there were more sustainable options to meet our human desire to beautify our spaces and convey our personalities and values in them. I learned that many others also felt the same.

What started as a self-challenge to repurpose premium materials into home goods (that even my design-forward friends would covet) evolved into REVISION GOODS. Our mission is to make renewing materials the norm by offering consumers a thoughtful, sustainable alternative for decorating spaces  unique and functional home goods that you'd love to use and be proud to own, objects that lessen the burden on our planet.

Since inception, REVISION GOODS is becoming a small (but growing!) ecosystem that helps material suppliers find sustainable ways for materials they no longer need, supports artists and makers wanting to create more sustainably, and enables partners interested in circularity to thrive.

I hope you will find something here you love. And if you do, please tell others about us. Tell us too what you wish could be made with renewed materials, and what we can do better to make more positive impact.

Our world's linear economy of the take-make-waste model simply cannot be maintained at the current pace. Together, we CAN shift toward a more circular economy – one that uses only existing or sustainably renewable resources, and considers direct and indirect costs on our planet.  It’s not an easy road nor a quick pivot, but all movements start small, with individuals choosing to do something different and better.

Let’s re-envision and reshape our collective future together.

I am so grateful you stopped by.
